我喜歡西部片，雖然看得不算多，但幾乎看過的都喜歡。
我喜歡約翰韋恩的鐵漢形象，喜歡日正當中的緊湊感，喜歡鏢客三部曲的瀟灑，喜歡強哥的棺材裡有機關槍，當然也喜歡虎豹小霸王的雨點一直落在我頭上。
西部片故事牽扯到的利益，不外乎金子跟土地，其實也就是個到哪都不變的真理（請原諒我用了真理這個浮誇的比喻），在我單薄的想像中，創作也是有點類似淘金的性質，不知道哪時會挖到金，哪裡有金大家就往哪挖，但總是幾家歡樂幾家愁。我相信分析跟數據有它的意義，所以我也清楚這不等於否定運氣的成分，但身為創作者，是不是就該像個變賣家產的淘金客跨越蠻荒餐風露宿，這答案也許不是每個人都適合同樣一套。
所以就像這首歌一樣，有些人會心懷感激，有些人不以為意，有些人會主張一切成功都有公平可信的理由，有些人轉而憎恨這世界絲毫不公平。
